Biography

I write under the pen name of Joy Adams, taken from my middle name and my late mothers' maiden name. My picture book stories are for young children and are based on real life scenarios. After retiring from a long nursing career I was inspired to write my first story. I am married, have three wonderful adult children and I reside in South East Queensland, My recently published book is Bella the Flying Umbrella. It's about a small red umbrella who is whisked away by a strong wind. This book is available from most of the online book sellers.
